Dr. Roland Platz from Darmstadt is visiting Clemson this week. He will be offering a short course titled "Controlling Uncertainty Via Smart System Technology" on February 16, 19, 20, and 21, 2018 from 3-5pm.  See the poster for Dr. Platz's course.

Dr. Peter Green from the University of Liverpool visited Clemson during the week of February 5, 2018.

Dr. Atamturktur gave a talk at the University of Nebraska--Lincoln on November 30 and December 1, 2017.

Dr. Atamturktur gave a talk at the University of Cinncinnati on March 24, 2017.

Dr. Atamturktur gave a talk at the University of Virginia on September 8, 2017.

Dr. David Higdon from Virginia Tech visited Clemson University in November and gave a talk on his experiences involving statistical inference, computational modeling, and big data.

Dr. Chuck Farrar from Los Alamos National Laboratories visited Clemson University in October and gave a talk on the past, present, and future of structural health monitoring.

Dr. Atamturktur participated in the Collaborative on Academic Careers in Higher Education (COACHE) meeting at Harvard.

Garrison Stevens and Dr. Atamturktur presented at the LABEX's workshop on model-based design, validation, and monitoring of structures under severe uncertainty in Besançon, France. 

Dr. Atamturktur, with the help of Greg Roche, a graduate student at Clemson University, facilitated an NCMA-funded Masonry Design Competition.
