Dr. Atamturktur has received a $3M NSF grant to inaugurate a new graduate degree program titled "Model and Data Enabled Resilient Infrastructure." (May 2016) PRESS RELEASE
Dr. Atamturktur and her colleagues received a new project funded by the National Science Foundation Design of Engineering Material Systems (DEMS) program.
Dr. Atamturktur is the Principal Investigator of a new GAANN project, which will fund 8 doctoral students for the duration of their study (2015-2019) on topics related to Model Validation and Uncertainty Qualification.
Dr. Atamturktur and her colleagues received a new project funded by the National Science Foundation CyberSEES program.
Drs. Atamturktur and Sanders have received a new grant funded by the National Concrete Masonry Association.
Dr. Erkut Sayin from Firat University has received a project funded by the Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey and will join the CU-IDEAS research team during the 2015-2016 academic year.
Dr. Atamturktur has received funding for a new project titled "Combined Numerical and Experimental Study: Structural Behavior of Dry-Stacked Systems" from the National Concrete Masonry Association.
Drs. Juang and Atamturktur have received REU funds from National Science Foundation.
Dr. Atamturktur has received educational funds from the National Concrete Masonry Association to support the Masonry Structural Design course she will be offering in spring 2013.
The Glenn Department of Civil Engineering received a new GAAN grant for their proposal titled "Graduate Training in Engineering and Managing Resilient and Sustainable Infrastructure.” The proposal was submitted by a team of Clemson researchers including Dr. Atamturktur.
